Baggage is the story of a woman unpacked. Her seams have burst, the lid is lifted, her secrets are out. Fusing theatre and dance with some side splitting comedy, this show takes the audience on a rip roaring adventure from a small town in Ireland to the dance floors of Buenos Aires. This is not a coming of age story – she’s far too old for that.

BAGGAGE was commissioned by the SoloSirens collective and premiered at their solo theatre festival in November 2019 at the CivicTheatre, Dublin.

The play was programmed for the First Fortnight Festival 2021. It was filmed and screened across the globe as part of the festival.

BAGGAGE was presented by SoloSirens as part of a double bill and
toured the west of Ireland.

BAGGAGE received a Live Performance Scheme award from Dublin City Council in
2022 and played a three night sold out run in the Fumbally Stables Dublin.
